Pellenji Highlands

Sandwiched between the Druun mountains and the great ice sheets of the north rises a high plateau. The summers are warm and sunny, with ample rain, and the winters are blisteringly cold as the northern winds cut across the flat land.

These highlands are perfect for growing grass, running horses, and the tent cities of the Pellenji nomads. A short and slightly swarthy people, the Pellenji are an adventurous and sometimes war like people. Thankfully for the lands of Darisia, most of their energies are taken out on internal struggles and the nearby goblin tribes of the Druun mountains.

Pellenji life revolves around the massive horse herds that each family has, and their tent cities follow (or guide) the herds about the plateau in a great cycle over the course of the year.
